Building things real and imagined.

On Screen & On Stage

Tyler Diminick — primary headshot

Tyler Diminick is a New York-based actor and improviser. He performs long-form improv regularly and has appeared in independent films, sketches, and digital content. When he's not on stage or on set, he's building software — which, honestly, is just another kind of performance.

What I Build

Principal engineer with 10 years of experience building full-stack products — from enterprise platforms at Amazon to early-stage startups to my own side projects. I care about clean architecture, fast load times, and building things people actually use.

Featured Projects
MCP Manager Live

An enterprise gateway platform for managing Model Context Protocol server connections — multi-tenant proxy management, access policies, observability, and security tooling.

Vue 3 Python Node.js AWS
The Career Actor Live

A career management platform for working actors — audition tracking, booking management, and professional growth tools.

Vue 3 Node.js PostgreSQL
Improv Jam Manager In Development

An app for hosting and managing improv jam nights — participant sign-ups, pair generation, and show flow tools.

Vue 3 Fastify Neon

How I Work

I'm a full-stack engineer who's comfortable owning a problem end to end — data modeling, API design, frontend architecture, infrastructure, deployment. My go-to stack is Vue 3 on the frontend, Node.js or Python on the backend, and PostgreSQL for data. I've built and deployed on AWS and GCP at scale, and I'm just as happy wiring up a VPS for a side project. I work primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript but reach for whatever tool fits the job.

Professionally, I've spent a decade shipping software — from monitoring hundreds of thousands of EC2 instances at Amazon to architecting core product features at early-stage startups. Outside of work, I build products that scratch my own itch. The Career Actor and Improv Jam Manager both came from real problems I ran into as a performer. I'd rather build something useful than something impressive.
